LUBRICATES - its lubricating components spread out and thus stick to all moving parts of the treated mechanism.

PROTECTS AGAINST CORROSION - coats the surface and its microscopic irregularities with an anti-corrosive coating that protects it from moisture and other corrosive elements. The anti-corrosion layer is so thin that no decontamination is required.

CLEANS - gets under dirt, soot, grease and baked-on lubricants. Cleans the material being treated and also removes stickers perfectly. WD-40 does not contain silicones and therefore does not bind other contaminants.

It loosens rusted, stiff or baked joints.

WATER CLEANS - creates a waterproof dielectric barrier. WD-40 does not conduct electricity and therefore prevents possible moisture-induced short circuits.
