Aquawool 450g (equivalent of 17kg filtration sand)

A 450 g package replaces approximately 17 kg of sand.

Instructions: Open the filter housing according to the filtration user manual, then remove the sand filling and thoroughly clean the housing. Fill the filter housing with the appropriate amount of AQUAWOOL beads (280 g of beads replaces approximately 10 kg of sand). Close the filter housing and prepare it for operation.

Maintenance: Perform regular backwashing of the filter media (see the filter’s user manual). If necessary, and at least once per season, remove the balls from the housing and simply wash them with a small amount of detergent in an automatic washing machine at a temperature of up to 40°C.
